December 2006 ~ Toys for Troops:

The Benicia Kiwanis Club delivered Toys for Troops. Msgt. Tom Bradley and the crew at Travis Air Force Base were happy to receive the toys and anticipate up to 500 families will benefit from the Kiwanis effort. More toys are expected to arrive throughout the weekend from other areas.

The Benicia Club contributions are as follows:

• 30 large Teddy Bears
• 100 Beanie Babies (mostly due to Lisa Globke's astute interactions with a John Farley contributor last month, who had 85 beanie babies in need of new homes. Yeah Lisa!!!)
• 35 individually wrapped presents.
