Focused on Service

Some of the Benicia club's involvement in youth and community service include:

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt is a free event held each year in Benicia City Park and sponsored by the Benicia Kiwanis Club. It is open to children 2 - 10 years of age.

Sponsor of BHS Key Club

Key Club assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission. Key Clubbers learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning and conducting projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

AED in Schools Program

Benicia Kiwanis through its efforts to raise funds (annual golf tournament) and obtain grants from the district and international levels have succeeded in placing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in Benicia High School. We are committed to expand the Benicia Unified School District's desire to make AEDs accessible in all schools should an individual collapse in Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
